barackobama5.9July 28, 2026You might think this show is exaggerating but when I worked as a server every shift was a fever dream. One guy was constantly on meth and coke, our dishwasher got arrested and then got herpes, our cook got stabbed by his gf and he watched his intestines fall out (he said she still bad tho), two servers were secretly cyclically dating and breaking up, our “investor” slapped the fuck out of his wife while coked up, a friend / wine sommelier down the street got fired bc he was having sex with customers in the office, one of my customers fake teeth fell out, our owners were constantly screaming crying and fighting… I could go on and on. Also they stopped paying us and they still owe me $200 😍 but I was raking in them 80-100% tipssss 🤑🤑 so yea highly recommend working in the restaurant industry if you want some extra fun in your life Oh yea but this show is a great watch and a love letter to Chicago where I lived post grad 🫶🫶 there’s lots of yelling and stress so not really the type of show you watch after a long day of work
