As u might know, I feel very strongly about the contemporary topic of boys, men and masculinity. I don’t know why some people see toxic masculinity as a “they did it to themselves” issue. I thought we all knew that there are only victims of a systemic issue? And it’s impossible or very difficult to free yourself from something so systemic. Whether we like it or not, toxic masculinity is a woman’s issue too. We’re all in it together. You can read/watch more from Richard Reeves The acting in this is perfect and the cinematography is crazy. Watching this made me angry again bc it reminded me of how bad the acting in Anora was (random stray but I genuinely hate that movie). Anyways. The last episode feels like a letter to boys and young men like Jamie. It’s something that Jamie will never see Four episodes is too short to really cover the scope of the issue. I wish there was more
