frnkautmn5.9August 5, 2026Honestly, I thought it was a bit boring at first, but I’m not really one to stop in the middle of a show unless I’m just not interested in it at all, and by the end of S1, it had some exciting things so I figured I’d give S2 a shot. And OH MAN. S2 felt normal at first but by the last seven or so episodes I was completely hooked. And I was sobbing the entirety of the last four. The intricacy of the plot and how everything wove together was just masterfully done, and the complexity of the characters blew me away, Shisui/Loulan in particular. Shisui’s dance at the end was beautiful yet brutal, I could feel every emotion in how she danced, I didn’t even know you could convey that many emotions in an animated dance.
