barackobama9.7July 27, 2026Absolutely magical and timeless movie. Reminded me of the boy and the heron a lot. Characterizations of frightfulness, laziness, greed, and ignorance show that in the face of disaster, our friendships and sacrifices will determine whether we will sink or swim Motifs from water reflections (maybe just a tool to parallel character development / strengthening confidence?), the glass ball, the whale, and homogeneity(echo chambers?). I don’t really understand the stork ending so I’ll have to think about it
