barackobama9.9July 27, 2026Def understand the hype for this movie now. A bit unfair to the other Harry Potter movies that it has time travel bc it’s a concept that audiences like. And def opened up too many plot loopholes which is why all the time turners coincidentally get destroyed in year 5… Last half reminds me a lot of Pans Labyrinth or maybe I’m just reaching lol. One qualm I have is that the entire subplot of the Marauders got cut — why they became Animagi, esp the reveal of their marauders nicknames. It’s hinted at the end in Remus’s office, but would’ve been nice to have it explained since the beginning of year 4 becomes kind of a plot hole when Voldemort calls Pettigrew by Wormtail and Harry automatically knows. Also idk why they scrapped the uniforms since wearing regular clothes stops the movie from being timeless
