Synopsis

Refreshing, non cringe dialogue (for a theme that can easily become cringe), emotionally competent / realistic characters, and hits close to home And maybe unintentional, but Nora uses intonations similar to an old person when she speaks in Korean. Like she really does talk in Korean only to her mom. A small detail that I don’t see often in movies but really adds to the diasporic theme
