barackobama9.7July 27, 2026Can a film really be anti-war because any war film, even if it doesn’t glamorize war, is consumed in the context of entertainment? This film does many things I like, such as showing the horror of warfare, naive expectations vs reality, and the blame of politicians who sit in comfortable chairs while executing millions of people. I think the Mayans had got it down. Instead of war, our politicians should play a game of basketball/volleyball and the politicians on the side that loses should be put to death
