I know that the reviews on this movie are mixed and that I probably shouldn’t have loved it as much as I did, but wow! I loved it. Something was so mystical and empyrean (definitely had to use a dictionary for that one). Very rarely do you see a film where the first love isn’t the endgame. Especially when there is a legitimate way to make it work. I think this movie really did justice to the idea of loving someone enough to realize when you <i>are</i> and <i>aren’t</i> going to fight<b> for</b> someone the way that they truly deserve and choosing accordingly. No one can doubt that Tracy and Bryan have complete chemistry, but he won’t fight for her like he fights for Allison and she won’t fight for him like she fights for Woody. Not a loud and brilliant film, but so interesting and sweet.  The one thing I do have questions about is all the different mythology that they used and how I truly played into the plot and what made it important enough to make the Final Cut. I’ll probably find it somehow in a rewatch.
