Nothing like what I thought it would be like. They set Bronson up as, what one character calls him, a "bleeding heart liberal." His father was killed in a hunting accident and a conscientious objector during the Korean War. They seem to be blaming the rise in crime to liberals. Once Bronson starts the killings crime goes down and the city loves him. Once he gets caught they police tell him to leave town. Then in the final moments we see Bronson in Chicago. He's getting off the train and sees more hoodlums like the ones in NY. A disturbing smile stretches across his face as he points his finger towards them as if it was a gun. This man has gone from a "bleeding heart liberal" to what appears to be a man that loves to kill. I just don't understand the viewpoint the filmmakers are trying to tell me.
