As someone who read the book before watching the movie, the book was better. This movie was good but it feels as if it doesn’t have as much passion or romance in it as the book does. Now just reviewing this as a movie and not a book adaptation I thought it was really cute and interesting, I love the characters and I love the portrayal of Poppy and Alex’s relationship through Poppy’s clothes, because during the times she’s with Alex, her clothes are bright and colorful but when they have their fallout her clothes turn drab and bland. I loved the little details and humor. it has the potential to become a rom-com classic.

Surprisingly fun and feels complete. I liked the acting although the sometimes-cringe dialogue overtook it. A nice watch

It was alright. Nothing spectacular in my opinion. But decent story line. I found myself zoning out a bit but was still able to watch the whole thing. I kinda liked how they played around with time timelines a bit in the story telling. They present some story in the present, the take us back to what led us there and back again. It worked out
